Susan has gained a wealth of experience working as an employment consultant, successfully assisting jobseekers into many different jobs across a wide variety of business sectors. She has worked as a journalist, corporate business development manager, client relations/ marketing consultant, sales representative and executive assistant.

She has played a significant role in various community projects which involved researching and writing successful funding proposals. These projects included; being a founding and active board member of Australia's national employer network on disability, Employers Making a Difference (EMAD) and developing the NSW South Coast's ASE (Access to the Shoalhaven) project which provides a web based local government tourism directory for people with disabilities, building and directing a regional pre-school. Susan has also produced a variety of corporate and community-based DVD’s which have been televised nationally with ABC and also with channels TCN 9, 7 & 10. She is also an active community member and advocate for people who suffer from alcoholism and addictions.
