The Employment and Vocational Program provides skills to
people who have been treated for substance abuse as they prepare
to re-establish themselves in the community.
Recognising that a drug-free life is much more sustainable, long
term, when a person is gainfully employed, the Employment and Vocational
Program best readies clients by offering career counselling, job
search preparation, individual marketing assistance, and independent
living skills including financial management.
Successful Résumés assists
the Employment and Vocational Program at Odyssey House
Victoria in developing employment strategies for clients who are
preparing to (re)enter the workforce and helps to guide these job
seekers in their quest for gainful employment.
